For the uninitiated, his first arrest was towards the end of September. He was arrested on two counts of violating a domestic violence protection order, and he was able to walk out after posting bail worth $15,000 on the same day. Authorities had claimed that he went to a woman’s house and grabbed some of her stuff from her backyard before burning it while being completely naked.

At the time of writing, no additional details are available regarding the defensive end’s arrest. Chandler Jones posted pictures and videos after his earlier arrest, where he appeared to be happy and enjoying himself while getting his first tattoo. The defensive end inked a 3-year, $51 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022; however, due to behavioral issues off the field and his unusual behavior on social media, the Raiders were compelled to distance themselves from him.

The team had released this statement, saying that they were “hopeful that Chandler Jones receives the care that he needs. He, his family, and all those involved are in our thoughts.” There is really no obvious reason that can explain Jones’ behavior of late.

The defensive end was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2012; he was a first-round pick and spent four years under Bill Belichick before moving to the Arizona Cardinals, where he played for another six years.

His stint with the Las Vegas Raiders began in 2022, when he played 15 games for the team, recording 4.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and 38 tackles. Hopefully, Jones gets the treatment he needs and can make a solid return to the NFL at the earliest!
