Tom Brady is arguably the best player of the NFL. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback has simply outlived every other in terms of career longevity and Super Bowl titles, and is all set to play his 23rd season.
However if there is one place, the 44-year seems to be lagging behind his contemporary quarterbacks, it has to be the amount of money they earn these days. Tom Brady tried to deviate from the topic swiftly after Barkley made a comment on his financial prowess

Appearing on a show, ahead of the match, Tom Brady said that he’s amongst the lowest earning higher rated quarterback going around in the league, however the response from Charles Barkley was even better.
Barkley showed him what is what, and took a jibe at him signing a new deal with Fox Sports which will see him pocket about $375m over the course of 10 years, after he decides to call time on his playing career. The amount of money he will earn is unprecedented for any TV sports analyst.
“Tom, number one, if you’re worried about being the lowest-paid guy, why don’t you just quit, retire again and go to TV? I hear you got some change coming your way,” Barkley said.
“All in due time,” Brady said after some nervous laughter. “I think you guys are doing just fine yourselves.”
Brady then quickly switched topics to bifurcate the attention from him signing a new deal and spoke of his love for Charles Barkley’s show.
“Speaking of that, I love your guys’ show,” said Brady. “I told Shaq when I had dinner with him… The best camaraderie, I think everybody in television tries to emulate what you do, so keep it up. It’s like a very dysfunctional Thanksgiving family dinner. You guys are doing very well.”
