“The Cleveland Bears” – Chicago Bears sporting orange helmets for TNF game against the Panthers sparks mixed reaction on social media
The team's alternative helmets are eerily similar to the Cleveland Browns which has resulted in them being trolled.

The Chicago Bears will sport their fresh alternate helmets for the second time on Thursday when they face the Carolina Panthers. The new helmets are hard to not notice and the bright shade catches one’s eye. The brand-new helmets are meant to be paired with the team’s orange alternate jerseys that include white bottoms and orange striped socks.
While the Chicago Bears‘ new alternative helmet is a fresh look for the team, the organization did not think the new color code and design through as it is pretty similar to the Cleveland Browns helmets. The shade of orange used in the helmets is almost identical to the one that the Browns use on their helmets. While the jerseys and helmets are bright, Chicago’s record while rocking these outfits is grim as the team is 0-3.

The Bears’ new helmet has the team’s iconic “C” in navy blue. The facemask is also blue in color, the new alternate helmet design is a step in the positive direction for the Bears as this is the first time in the team’s 103-year history that the team will rock a helmet whose primary color is not navy blue.
Fans feel the Chicago Bears should consider firing their jersey designer
While the team’s intention was to make history with this new helmet, fans did not see it that way. Ultimately, the Bears aimed to stand out and attract positive attention with their new helmets but all the team ended up getting was mocked and trolled online.

Take a look at how fans responded to the team’s new helmets.

Will Chicago make it 0-4 in these new uniforms tonight?
I prefer the classic brown ones

Thank God you showed me, cuz I won’t be watching a trash Thursday night game.

Thursdays should just be division rivalry match ups or playoff race games. No one wants to watch these match ups, God bless…
We always lose with these on ?

An orange helmet doesn’t change the fact that there’s a Thursday night game to kick off week 10 between teams with a combined 3 wins. pic.twitter.com/NMyoUuzbRc

Everyone just wants to be the Browns

The Bears should have decided to pick a lighter or darker shade of orange. If one were to remove the logo and any stripes from the team’s new helmet and the Browns’ existing helmet, it would be impossible to tell them apart.
