A horrible incident occurred at the press conference session of the Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle (DT) Chris Jones post-Sunday game. During the question-answer session, a ceiling tile fell on the members of the press. Luckily, no one got injured. They escaped a possible disaster that could have led to some serious injuries.

After watching this awkward yet dangerous incident taking place, the DT abruptly ended the PC and walked away from the podium. It was expected that he would not continue his session by risking his and other media attendees’ lives.

The DT was answering the queries of the press after his team suffered a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night. It was a closely contested game and till the last quarter, the game could have gone anyone’s way. The Bills held their nerves and secured the game in the last quarter by 20-17.

It was a poor offensive performance from the Chiefs which suffered their fifth defeat this season. Patrick Mahomes was silent in the game. He registered 271 yards of passing with a touchdown and an interception. He also completed 25 of his 43 passes. A poor performance considering his ability.

Though statistically Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills QB, was behind him, he received the support from his teammates and had the last laugh on the turf.

The Chiefs are presently standing tall in their AFC West Division. With eight wins and five defeats, they are still their division leaders. However, these losses can cost them high in terms of winning the AFC Championship title.

Chris Jones had a tiff with DL Joe Cullen during Sunday game

Amid the loss, the DT of the Chiefs attracted media space for indulging in a tiff with the DL Joe Cullen. During the game, both were spotted arguing with each other. The DT was seen spreading his hands and saying things agitatedly. Joe Cullen also threw a material that was in his hands out of frustration. A video that later went viral on social media captured the entire fiasco.

Jones had an attitude issue since the very beginning of the season. He skipped practices due to a tussle with the team management regarding his contract. The DT also watched the first game of the Chiefs as a ‘fan.’ It is to be seen whether this tussle adds some extra hazards to his career or not.

The Chiefs will be facing the New England Patriots next, who managed a rare win this week against the Pittsburgh side.
