NFL players go through a lot during a game. It is one of the most physical sports in the world and the most physically demanding positions in the sport is the running back position. They go through the most punishment. One of the best running backs in the league, Christian McCaffrey has gone through a lot of that throughout his career.

McCaffrey is having an amazing season for the San Francisco 49ers. He joined them in the middle of last season from the Carolina Panthers and since then, has been terrific for his new team. So far this season, McCaffrey has rushed for 939 yards and has scored 11 touchdowns. In the Niners’ latest game against the Seattle Seahawks, the 27-year-old carried the ball 19 times for 114 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also suffered a lot along the way.

McCaffrey’s fiancee, Olivia Culpo, recently posted a video of McCaffrey after the Seahawks game. In the video, the star running back can be seen with a lot of bruises on his arms. Culpo also shared a couple of images of McCaffrey’s bruises and added a caption that said, “What a stud.” She also displayed bloodstains from McCaffrey’s wounds on their bed. The rusher, though, had a smile on his face as he proudly flaunted his bruises.

The Niners are on a roll. They have now won three games on the trot and are back to their best. McCaffrey has been a huge reason for their success this season as he leads the league in rushing yards and is second in touchdowns. The Niners are 8-3 so far this season and will play their next game against the Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday.

Christian McCaffrey is playing like a well-oiled machine this season. He is a huge reason why the San Francisco 49ers have a record of 8-3 this season. Against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday, the star rusher needed helmet surgery as NBC captured him getting his helmet screwed back to its place. That picture went viral on social media and McCaffrey was termed a ‘Cyborg’ after that incident.

The 27-year-old opened up about the reason behind the screwing of his helmet. He said: 

The back of [the helmet] broke. So, they had to go in and get a new one. I guess they keep two helmets -- I didn't know that. So, they were making sure the chin strap fit on the second helmet. So, that was the second helmet while the EQ guys came in and were fixing the first helmet.

The Niners ended up blowing the Seahawks away, 31-13. McCaffrey finished with 19 carries for 114 yards and 2 touchdowns. The San Francisco-based team is now back in the Super Bowl contention after three consecutive losses in the middle of the season. They will play their next game against the Philadelphia Eagles in last year’s NFC Championship rematch.
