Ciara shows a cold shoulder to Russell Wilson by snubbing him off her ‘New Year Resolution’ List despite his on-field woes

Russell Wilson is having one of the worst seasons of his playing career. A lot was expected of him when he was traded from the Seattle Seahawks to the Denver Broncos, but the 34-year-old quarterback has massively underperformed and has been very disappointing. He looks terribly slow on the field and is finding it difficult to move the football around. His throws aren’t landing where they are supposed to land and to sum it up, he hasn’t been able to lead the Broncos’ offense well.

When nothing is going as planned, one turns to his family, but by the looks of it, even that doesn’t seem to be an option for Wilson. In a recent interview, his wife and top singer, Ciara, totally snubbed him in her New Year’s resolutions. Ciara said that every year, she intends to level up and thinks about things that will have a positive impact in the coming year. She also said that she strives to find a perfect balance in life.

“Every year the mission is to keep leveling up,” she said during a recent interview with People. “Thinking out loud about the things that I’m hoping for in the new year and things that I want to perfect is definitely continuing to work on balance.”

Ciara further said that ‘balance’ is one of the greatest challenges in her life, given the fact that she is very ambitious, in addition to being a singer, an entrepreneur, and also a mom. She added how she will strive to grow and build her business. Here, she didn’t even mention Wilson or his poor run.

“Balance is one of the greatest challenges in my life, especially being ambitious and being an entertainer and entrepreneur and also being a mom. All those buckets are really important to me and especially to my family life. So I just want to make sure I’m filling up my cup, that my cup is properly full as I continue to grow and build out my businesses,” she added.

As for Wilson, he will most likely start in the remaining two games for the Broncos too. With HC Hackett getting fired, pressure will be on Wilson to deliver and justify his huge contract. The Broncos are currently 4-11 for the season and look like one of the worst teams this season. They are currently 4th in the AFC West division and will face the Chiefs and the Chargers in the next two games.
