The Buffalo Bills, led by their star QB Josh Allen, are one of the possible Super Bowl contenders from the AFC. However, the Bills are facing a lot of struggles off-the-field currently, as there’s an alleged rift between their franchise QB Allen, and their number 1 wide receiver, Stefon Diggs. The wide receiver missed the first day of the mandatory training camp, which has fueled the rumors.
The former Pro Bowl receiver Stefon Diggs has been posting a lot of cryptic messages lately, seemingly taking shots at his quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills organization. Diggs signed a 4-year contract extension just last season, so it certainly isn’t the money that he is unhappy with. The alleged rift started earlier this year when Diggs was seen yelling at Allen on the sidelines during their playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bills had an abysmal outing in the playoff game, and Diggs wasn’t happy about it. Ever since that moment, there are several rumors about Diggs wanting to leave Buffalo. And now, Diggs missing the first day of the mandatory training camp, has stirred the pot once again. On Tuesday, when Diggs missed the training camp, the Bills’ head coach Sean McDermott claimed that Diggs’ absence was very concerning.
Amidst this concerning situation, Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd blames HC Sean McDermott for the Bills’ struggles and claims the Miami Dolphins will end up winning the AFC East division over the Buffalo-based football team.

Colin Cowherd blames Sean McDermott for Bills’ struggles
During the recent taping of the Fox Sports show, The Herd, the renowned sports media personality Colin Cowherd put the blame on Sean McDermott for the Bills’ struggles. “Sean McDermott, last chance,” Cowherd said. “He’s the issue. I watched him get out-coached by (Miami’s) Mike McDaniel three times. You can’t lose to Miami if you have Josh Allen, can’t, not against Skylar Thompson.”
The Bills face the Dolphins three times in the last season, including a playoff matchup. Sean McDermott-led Bills won two of the three games, including the decisive postseason game. It is true the Bills struggled against the Dolphins in the wildcard game, but they still secured the victory.
Colin Cowherd’s net worth is around $25 million and he also predicted the Dolphins to win the AFC East division title in the upcoming season over the Bills. The Bills, led by the combination of Josh Allen and Sean McDermott, have won the last three division titles ever since Tom Brady left the New England Patriots.
Nonetheless, after all the rumors and speculations, Stefon Diggs showed up to the Bills’ minicamp on the second day. The rumors about him leaving the Bills have cooled down for now, but this certainly won’t be the end of the speculations.
