Aaron Rodgers is having the worst season of his career. The Green Bay Packers have lost yet again, this time to the Titans who were better than them throughout the game.
A-Rod is looking slow and old this season and the QB has started to become more of a liability than an asset to the Packers. It’s sad to see his dreadful performances as everyone knows what the Packers QB is capable of.
Colin Cowherd was visibly furious after the Packers-Titans game and decided to call out Rodgers for his abysmal performance. The Packers QB was outplayed by Titans QB Ryan Tannehill who led his team to a 27-17 win against the Packers.
According to Cowherd, there is no light at the end of the tunnel for the Packers. They are currently struggling in a division with much better teams than them who are improving significantly every season, while the Packers are getting worse.
Another reason for the Packers’ downfall is credited to Rodgers’ humongous salary. It seems that the veteran’s paycheck has made it difficult for the Packers to become flexible and deploy different players as not many free agents want to come to a team like the Packers.
A-Rod’s off-the-field theatrics have also made people critical of him. The QB is 38 years old now and moving towards his eventual retirement. Amidst all this, Colin Cowherd has some advice for the Packers.
Colin Cowherd wants the Packers to bench Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers is old and looks like a shell of himself. The QB has also been involved in many controversies off the field. Although before it was okay as the reigning Super Bowl MVP delivered moments of magic on the field, now his magic has faltered.
Colin Cowherd had a piece of advice for the Packers on “the Herd” as he asked the team to bench Rodgers and give some playing time to backup QB Jordan Love to see what he is about.
Aaron Rodgers is getting old and will need more time to recover hence benching him right now will be the best option as the Packers have nothing to lose this season.
The Packers needed an MVP-level performance from Aaron Rodgers but it has been the complete opposite as the QB has even failed to register a decent game in the NFL.
