“I’m surprised Warren Sapp would say that,” Colin Kaepernick’s agent responds to NFL legend’s claim that QBs workout with the Raiders was a “disaster”

“I’m surprised Warren Sapp would say that,” Colin Kaepernick’s agent responds to NFL legend’s claim that QBs workout with the Raiders was a “disaster”

Colin Kaepernick is yet to find an NFL suitor for himself, but that has not been through the lack of effort on the part of the once-banished quarterback. Earlier in the offseason, the 34-year-old worked out with the Las Vegas Raiders in order to make himself back in the fray of the NFL sides after a break of over 6-years.

Although many claimed that Kaepernick showed arm strength and conditioning during the workout session with the Raiders, former NFL legend, Warren Sapp claimed that it was a disaster. In a recent media interaction with VLAD TV, Sapp made these comments about Colin Kaepernick.

He said, “I heard it was a disaster. I heard one of the worst workouts ever.” This did not go down well with Kaepernick’s Jeff Nalley and he has quashed those claims made by the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers DT.

“I guess Warren didn’t talk to the General Manager or the head coach,” Nalley told PFT via text message. “I spoke to the G.M. [Dave Zieger] several times and he said they all thought Kap was in great shape and threw the ball really well and encouraged any team to call him about the workout and he would tell them the same. I’m surprised Warren would say that because it’s not true and you would think he would want Kap on a team.”
