Tom Brady hurt and angered numerous war veterans after his ‘hurtful’ military comparison recently. Brady has had a hard time this season and nothing is going right for the legendary QB.

Tom Brady’s personal life and professional life are in crisis since he decided to rejoin the NFL after 40 days of retirement for one last season. This hasn’t gone well for Brady and recently on the Let’s Go Podcast, the Bucs QB made some interesting comments that took the internet by storm.

Tom Brady allegedly insulted US veterans by comparing the NFL with military deployment. The controversial statement enraged numerous military veterans who asked Brady to publicly apologize for his ignorant statement.

“I almost look at like a football season like you’re going away on deployment in the military, and it’s like, ‘man, here I go again,’” the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB said on the “Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray” podcast. “There’s really only one way to do it…The reality is you can really only be authentic to yourself, right?”

Tom Brady is in a lot of heat from the veterans, and rightly so. Alberto Romero, a U.S military veteran, posted a Venn diagram on his Twitter comparing the NFL to the military and also asked Tom Brady for a public apology.

According to the Venn Diagram posted by Alberto Romero on Twitter, the only thing common between the NFL and the military is staying away from the family.

It is high time we hold Tom Brady accountable for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers struggles this season.

Alberto Romero also spoke about former NFL player Pat Tillman who joined the US Army Rangers in the wake of the 9/11 attacks in the country and stated that Tillman would never agree with Tom Brady’s views.

“I really really REALLY hope Tom Brady gives a public apology for his ignorant remarks. I’m sure Mr. Pat Tillman would not agree with him.” Alberto Romero stated on his Twitter.

Tom Brady is having a rough patch in his life and career, and his frustration is pretty evident in the games and in interviews as well. The seven-time Super Bowl winner also spoke about mental illness with Kevin Durant on the same podcast and how he overcomes difficulty.

Tom Brady and the Bucs are currently 3-3 in the NFL and their star QB will have to switch on to his peak form to salvage something for the Bucs in their last season as they face the Panthers in their next game of the season.
