Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys is having a phenomenal season. After a disappointing 2022 season, where he led the league with 15 interceptions, the quarterback had a lot of expectations coming into this season. He started the season slowly but has improved his play in recent weeks to catapult himself into the MVP conversations. Prescott has led his team to a 10-4 record and is looking to make a deep playoff run this season.

Another player who has led his team to a 10-4 record is Philadelphia Eagles’ Jalen Hurts. However, Hurts hasn’t had an impactful season. After leading his team to a Super Bowl appearance last season, he now is tied with the most turnovers in the league this season. The Eagles’ QB has 17 turnovers and hasn’t played well in the team’s last three games.

One thing that the fans on social media have caught onto is that Hurts seems to be getting far less criticism this season as compared to Prescott last season. The Cowboys’ QB faced a lot of heat for his turnover-heavy season last year, however, Hurts seems to have gotten away with a lot of that criticism this year. One fan pointed out this “hypocrisy” in his tweet.

Both Hurts and Prescott have a similar team record, but their individual stats are very different from each other. Prescott has racked up 3,639 yards and 28 touchdowns with only seven interceptions. Hurts, on the other hand, has thrown for 3,335 yards, 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Jalen Hurts calls out his Eagles teammates after three consecutive losses

The Philadelphia Eagles were sitting pretty at the top of the NFC with a league-best record of 10-1 through the first 12 weeks of the season. However, they lost all that in their next three games as they went from 10-1 to 10-4. They have been surpassed by the San Francisco 49ers and are now tied with their divisional rivals, the Dallas Cowboys.

Jalen Hurts, the Eagles’ QB called out his teammates for their lack of “commitment” after the team’s third consecutive loss. Hurts said on Monday’s loss:

We didn't execute. I don't think we're, we're all, we're committed enough,""Just got to turn it around. You know, it's a challenge that we have to embrace. Just continue to see it through.

The Eagles will play their next game against the New York Giants and will look to get back on track before the playoffs. They have already qualified for the postseason, but will now look to win their division and try and catch the Niners.
