Cristiano Ronaldo and Tom Brady are regarded as one of the greatest athletes of this generation. The internet went completely berserk when both of them were clicked together earlier this year at Old Trafford (Manchester United’s home ground).
At that time, Tom Brady had retired from the NFL completely, but after a few days of meeting Cristiano Ronaldo, the Bucs QB changed his mind and joined the NFL again.
There was much speculation that Ronaldo played an important part in Brady’s decision to unretire, although nothing was confirmed until now when the 5 time Ballon D’or winner appeared on Piers Morgan and spoke about this.
The interview is regarded as the most candid interview by the Portuguese superstar and has made quite some revelations in it, taking the whole of the sports world by storm. When Ronaldo was asked about his meeting with Brady and his subsequent unretirement, the Manchester United forward quickly brushed things off and stated he didn’t know anything about it.
“Psychology, see. I’m a good psychologist,” Cristiano Ronaldo stated. “I think he had taken the decision a few weeks before that. He’s a very smart guy who knows a lot about football [soccer], we had a nice conversation. I don’t think that had anything to do with it, though.”
Their meeting was one of the most talked about things on the internet as Ronaldo was seen asking Brady, “You’re finished [playing] right?” The former Patriots QBs reply wasn’t audible, so we can’t decipher what the Super Bowl-winning QB said.

After Brady unretired, his marital problems increased with his wife Gisele, which further elevated to a divorce between the couple as the Brazilian Supermodel was not content with the Bucs QB playing for yet another season.
Cristiano Ronaldo also took to Instagram to share a photo with Brady after his retirement and captioned it “Always a pleasure and a privilege to share some thoughts and ideas with another GOAT…???? ,”
Tom Brady is now completely focused on football and since his divorce, the QB has been 2-0 in the NFL and probably turning his form around to challenge for the ultimate Super Bowl.
