The Dallas Cowboys humiliated the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at the US Bank Stadium after they defeated them 40-3 in what was their biggest victory margin in almost 27 years. Many questions were asked last week when the Cowboys lost marginally to the Packers, but with this thumping win, the Cowboys have proved why they are one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl this season.
Coming into the match, a lot was talked about the Cowboys’ defense, but they delivered much more of what was expected from them. They held the defensive line beautifully and didn’t let the Vikings score a single touchdown in the entire match. As for their offense led by quarterback Dak Prescott, they made sure that they deceived the Vikings’ defense well and scored a mammoth 40 points.
Ahead of the match, quarterback Dak Prescott’s eye-catchy pre-game routine went viral on social media. Prescott was seen warming up for the match in a very weird way. He twisted his upper body and hips aggressively in a way that looked hilarious to the outside world. Even the commentators couldn’t believe what or why was he doing so.
NFL Twitter reacts to Dak Prescott’s ‘hilarious’ pre-game routine
Prescott, who at times is over-scrutinized for his performance, was once again trolled heavily on social media but as soon as the match was over, the same fans started telling him to follow the same routine before every match so that he can perform as well as he did against the Vikings.
The Cowboys are second on the NFC East points table and with 7-3, are just two wins away from the Eagles. After the Eagles and the Vikings, they have the highest number of victories in the conference. They will now play three consecutive home games against the Giants, the Colts, and the Texans before facing the Eagles in a blockbuster clash on Christmas Eve.
