Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest has been the talk of the whole country for the past couple of days as everyone is giving their own opinion on the Bills’ safety’s injury. Hamlin is currently being treated by capable doctors at the University of Cincinnati Medical center. The hospital hasn’t given a statement yet about the injury.

However, there are many who claim to understand the extent of his injury and are making conclusions on the basis of it. The most prominent theory floating around in the media is that Hamlin’s cardiac arrest was due to the COVID vaccine, which is rumored to weaken the heart.

Prominent conservative Fox news analyst Tucker Carlson jumped in on this debate and made compelling points. Although there was no evidence to back them, Carlson was accompanied by a doctor who shared information about the side effects of the COVID vaccine.

According to Dr. Peter McCullough, the COVID vaccine circulated in America has strong side effects that induce myocarditis, which is responsible for cardiac arrests.

It was also pointed out on the Fox’ show that NFL athletes are closely monitored for any heart-related in-complications and ever since the vaccine has been distributed there has been a rise in cardiac arrests mid-game, not just in football but in many sports around the world.

“Prior to COVID-19 vaccines, there were roughly 29 cardiac arrests in the European sports leagues per year. Since the vaccine campaign began, there have been more than 1500 cardiac arrests in those leagues and 2/3rd of them were fatal,” Tucker Carlson stated on Fox’ ‘Tucker Carlson tonight’. “Does that prove something, we don’t know?”

Damar Hamlin suffered a gruesome injury due to the collision with Bengals receiver Tee Higgins and is currently in critical condition. However, cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough believes that it could have been caused by myocarditis.

The cardiologist explained it further and stated that he had seen the game live, which helped him come to this conclusion. After the impact, Hamlin safely got up and clapped his hands. However, after that, he collapsed suddenly and went completely unresponsive as CPR was administered to him.

The COVID-19 vaccine can cause myocarditis or heart damage, which can be asymptomatic. Though, according to Dr. McCullough, it has the potential to induce a cardiac arrest as what happened in the Bills safety’s case.

Although, the cardiologist pointed out that there could be other reasons for Hamlin’s cardiac arrest. However, the leading concern should be the myocarditis-induced cardiac arrest due to the COVID vaccine, according to him.

Damar Hamlin’s injury and the COVID vaccine have become a national issue now as everyone is giving their take on the recent controversy. However, the most important thing right now should be the health and safety of the player fighting for his life currently.
