‘Think before you speak,’ they say, but in the case of Antonio Brown, it has become ‘Think before you type.’ The former Tampa Bay Bucaenners’ wide receiver is hardly known for his on-field achievements, as his off-field controversies don’t leave any room for them. This time, he went one step further, and as expected, the consequences followed.

However, the star receiver-turned-Twitter-troll instead chose to respond most bizarrely. He shared a photo of Buffalo Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin, suggesting that he thought the cardiac arrest that nearly took Hamlin’s life was fake. For context, it happened last year when the defensive back collapsed on the field and was immediately taken to the hospital, where he remained in critical condition for days.

Hamlin could have ignored Brown, as many athletes do. But given the gravity of his condition after the cardiac arrest, he didn’t let the former NFL receiver get away with his bizarre joke.

It’s not hidden how much the former Bucs receiver loves attention. Even though his NFL career ended long ago, he tries to remain relevant through his bizarre tweets and posts and has probably targeted everyone on X.

After Hamlin’s blunt tweet about him, Brown got exactly what he was looking for. And he sure knew how to utilize it in his favor as he launched a vehement outburst against Hamlin along with an offensive AI-generated image.
