Damien Harris has made a name for himself at the highest level. The talented running back was roped in by the New England Patriots back in 2019 and he continues to play for them in the NFL.
He played college football at Alabama and impressed one and all with his talent. In fact, he is a two-time CFP National Champion. During last season, Harris was the team’s primary starter and he started nine games before getting ruled out for Week 10 due to a concussion.

However, this time around, Damien has made the news for something that is not related to sports but is set to affect the lives of a lot of people. As it turns out, according to Politico, a leaked draft opinion shows that Supreme Court in the US has voted to overturn abortion rights.
A lot of people are raising their voices against this as the ruling will take away the “guarantee of federal constitutional protection of abortion rights.” This means that the different states in the US would be allowed to decide for themselves if they want to make abortion legal or illegal.
Raising his voice against this, Harris took to Twitter and wrote, “This. Is. Wrong.” Harris’ post attracted a lot of reactions from Twitteratis with many claiming that what the authorities are trying to do is against democracy and free will.
This is an extremely serious issue that is bound to get big in the coming days. While some are saying that the Supreme court is not wrong in asking the states to take a decision for themselves, many have taken to the streets to protest against it.
