“Dan Campbell has them locked in” Detroit Lions are determined to bounce back and prove people wrong
Dan Campbell is looking to bring a revolution to the Lions training camp. After a below-average season with a record of 3-13-1 in the NFL, the team is looking for a change and Dan Campbell may be the answer to that question.
The Hard Knocks is back and with that, the hope of Lions is also rejuvenated. In the first episode of Hard Knocks, we are introduced to the Detroit Lions training camp and Dan Campbell is one everyone is impressed with.
Campbell is trying to change the culture and bring a winning mentality to the Lions, it’s about time that the Lions started acting concerning their name.
“Don’t be late. Don’t be overweight. Don’t disrespect your teammates or this game.” Coach Dan Campbell started the episode of Hard Knocks with the opening monologue and set the tone for the entire episode.

The Lions were focused on what was happening on the field and didn’t care about the Hard Knocks camera and the crew. The team was acting like themselves and had no filter on, this is the first time on a Hard Knocks episode that a team is seen in its most authentic state.
One can immediately feel the energy of the room that Coach Dan Campbell is radiating. And when Campbell talks, his player listens such is his passion for the game.
“There is no light at the end of the tunnel. There is no light,” Campbell says, referencing the classic Metallica song No Leaf Clover. “If you’re seeing a f—— light at the end of the tunnel, it’s a freight train. Just put your head down and go to work. It’s about to be fun, man.”
According to me, the first episode of Hard Knocks is a hit and I can’t wait to watch the remaining episodes. I’m all in on this journey.
