The Baltimore Ravens are 3-2 to begin the season. They have been playing good football. They were defeated by their rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday. Although the Ravens have been hit by the injury bug, most of the blame for the team’s losses has been laid on the Ravens’ QB Lamar Jackson. The former MVP of the league hasn’t lit up the season yet, but he has been solid enough to lead his team to 3 wins in 5 games.

Former Dallas Cowboys QB and current ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky does not understand the criticism surrounding Jackson. So far this season, Jackson has thrown for 1,030 yards and four touchdowns along with a couple of interceptions. He has a rating of 93.3 and has completed almost 70 per cent of his passes. Those are great numbers through five weeks of the season. Orlovsky talked about it on a recent edition of ESPN’s First Take.

“Lamar’s on track for 4,500 yards and 36 touchdowns,” Orlovsky said on the show. “And we’re sitting here saying [the Ravens] aren’t getting ENOUGH out of Lamar Jackson? First of all, you can’t bring up the special teams and not point out that Pittsburgh also blocked a punt for points. You can’t bring up the interceptions, because it’s an awful route by Odell Beckham. The sack fumble? What do you want him to do? Block and Throw!?” The Ravens are also dealing with injuries to some of their key offensive players.

Jackson had 236 yards and one interception against the Steelers last Sunday. The Ravens will play their next game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at the Northumberland Development Project Stadium in London. They will hope to bounce back after a tough loss against Pittsburgh.

Lamar Jackson has faith in his receivers bouncing back after a tough game on Sunday

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens had a tough game against the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday. The offense struggled throughout the game as the receivers dropped some easy passes all day. Jackson, though, has faith in his receivers to bounce back.

“It’s self-explanatory, I don’t need to say anything,” Jackson said. “Those guys feel how I feel. They want to make a play. We haven’t had that before, that was the first time it happened. I believe guys are locked down right now and they’re going to be better. So will I. I believe it’s just fundamentals. Guys just want to make something happen. The first thing is to catch the ball.”

The Ravens are expected to make a deep playoff run in a loaded AFC. They have started the season with three wins from five games and will look to win their next game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
