Joe Burrow, Tom Brady and Dan Orlovsky
Former Detroit Lions quarterback and ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky have proclaimed the Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow as the next Tom Brady. ESPN analysts have a habit of comparing every young and coming quarterback to the legendary QB Tom Brady. But Dan Orlovsky has explained the correlation between Brady and Burrow, which leads to their comparison.
Speaking on First Take in the recent episode with Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim, Dan Orlovsky believes it is fair to call Burrow the next Tom Brady. He went on to explain that when people talk about quarterbacks like Manning and Rodgers, it’s always some crazy throws or Hail Marys and crazy short-window throws. Although with Brady, it was always like..it’s just Tom. It’s more about what he has accomplished, rather than how he accomplished it.
He further explained that now it’s the same thing with Burrow. In this era of physically gifted quarterbacks who make crazy throws like Mahomes and Herbert, Burrow just gets the job done. Orlovsky says that Brady and Burrow might not have some of the traits that amaze the viewers, but they do every most important thing at their absolute best when it’s needed the most and that is where the correlation comes from.
Joe Burrow was also asked recently about the obvious comparison to which he quipped that he doesn’t pay attention to the Brady comparisons. ” I don’t really pay attention to it, he’s Tom and I’m Joe,” said Burrow.
Burrow would rather be paying attention to the Buccaneers’ defense who they be will going against this weekend as they look to extend their 5-game winning streak.

Amidst all the QB comparisons between the two, Joe Burrow will play his first game opposite the legendary QB Tom Brady this weekend when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Cincinnati Bengals.
The 9-and-4 Bengals are in great form, winning 7 of their last 8 games, and have proved they can beat any team on any given Sunday. The Bengals’ offense is scoring 25.8 points per game (6th best in the NFL) and is ranked inside the top 10 in many categories.
On the flip side, the Bucs are coming off their worst loss of the season. The Bucs currently have one of the worst offenses in the NFL scoring just 17.2 points per game (5th worst in the NFL) while ranking towards the bottom in many categories.
While all things are pointing to a one-sided beatdown, most NFL fans are just excited to see Joe Burrow take on Tom Brady for the first time in his career this weekend.
