On Sunday, the Tennessee Titans led by their rookie second-round draft pick Will Levis managed to secure a victory against the Atlanta Falcons in their week 8 matchup. Levis started his first game in the league and had himself a day as he threw for multiple touchdowns including 3 touchdown passes to the veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
The 31-year-old wide receiver feasted on the Falcons’ defense as he caught 4 passes for 128 yards and 3 touchdowns while averaging a massive 32.0 yards per reception. Hopkins proved on Sunday, that he is still one of the elite receivers in the league after a slow start to the season. Furthermore, after his remarkable performance, Hopkins channeled his inner Geno Smith to shut down the haters.

On the sporting side of things, Hopkin helped the rookie quarterback Will Levis have a memorable debut in his career. Levis completed 19 of his 29 pass attempts for 238 yards and 4 touchdowns.
As a result, the Tennessee-based football team managed to outscore the Falcons, 28-23 and secured their 3rd victory in the ongoing season. With this victory, the Titans improved to 3-4 and are staying in the hunt for the AFC South division title.
DeAndre Hopkins exploded on Sunday after a slow start to the season
The Titans made a big addition to their roster in the off-season by signing the free agent pass catcher DeAndre Hopkins. He was expected to become the number 1 offensive weapon in Mike Vrabel‘s offense.
Hopkins had a slow start to his campaign with the Titans as he had zero touchdown catches before their game against the Falcons. However, on Sunday alone he caught 3 touchdown passes, the same number of touchdown catches he had in 9 games last season.
Overall, Hopkins has now caught 31 passes for 504 yards and 3 touchdowns this season so far, not bad for a supposed washed wide receiver. Nonetheless, he would now look to help Tennessee to win the AFC South division. In their quest for the division title, the Titans will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in their week 9 game on Thursday Night Football.
