Jason Whitlock accuses Deion Sanders’ son Shedeur Sanders of having blatant ‘Daddy issues’

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes began their season on a roll this season; the team won three games straight before they hit a speed bump. The team ended its college football season with 4 wins and 8 losses. 

The Buffaloes are dead last in the Pac-12. The team’s season is effectively over, and while many view the team’s season as a resounding success, there is one critic who is coming after Deion Sanders for not just his coaching but also his approach as a father.

We watched the QB of that team, run around and be a little jerk on the field, flaunt his wealth, and act like a spoiled pampered entitled little Black Johhny Manziel.

He critiqued Shedeur Sanders for acting like he is a big shot who has already made it in the NFL and is earning big money. Sanders has been seen wearing and flexing Rolex watches, pulling up to practice in his Rolls Royce Cullinan, and other shenanigans where he flexes on his opponents.

Whitlock further critiqued Deion Sanders for not putting any blame on Shedeur Sanders. He said: 

At any point did the HC of the Colorado football team put any blame on his QB?

He further referred to Deion Sanders’ statements after the Buffaloes’ season had ended. Whitlock took issue with this one statement that he made. 

Instead of talking about what Colorado needed, what this entire team needs, he came out and said, 'We know what Shedeur needs.'

The analyst believes it will be a rough ride for Shedeur Sanders once he moves to the NFL. Whitlock accused Prime of “coddling” his son at every turn. 

This young man has been afflicted with Daddy issues...I know Deion has his own daddy issues, didn't know his and I don't think his stepfather was a great guy either.

He further pointed out that there was a disconnect in the Colorado Buffaloes locker room. He is convinced that Shedeur Sanders is not close with all of his teammates, with the exception of his father, his brother Shilo Sanders, and Travis Hunter. 

Whitlock accused Shedeur of being “untouchable, uncoachable, and aloof” owing to the status administered to him by his father.

He made it clear that this is not the way a dad should be raising his children. 

If you really want to be a great father, focus the majority of your energy on the first five years of that child's life.

The analyst does not like the comfort that Deion Sanders has given Shedeur within the locker room. He has become an untouchable figure who cannot be critiqued, similar to other players, because he has his father to protect him from that.
