Amid surprises and disappointments in Week One, the Dallas Cowboys stunned everyone with a 40-0 win against the New York Giants. No doubt, that the team performed brilliantly and achieved the result. Defensively they were too good.
A video went viral after the match against the Giants. In that video, the Cowboys player DeMarcus Lawrence was spotted using some harsh words against the New York Giants. Ahead of the match, the player threw disrespectful remarks at the Giants players. He appealed to everyone to make the Giants players quit before halftime.
DeMarcus Lawrence said, “Let’s make these (New York Giants) quit before halftime. You get a sack (pointing fingers at the Giants’ players). You all get a sack. Now for those of you in the audience today, if you look underneath your seat, you will find there, a sack, a sack.”
Lawrence was disrespectful towards the Giants player, however, those words depicted the body language that the Dallas Cowboys’ players had against the Giants. They started their season with aggression running into their veins and they got the results. When big shots failed to reach their prospective outcomes in week one, the Cowboys started with a bang.
If the age-old medium ‘Morning shows the day,’ rings true, then the Cowboys are going to have a decent season this year. During the offseason, owner and the general manager, Jerry Jones said that the Cowboys are in a better situation this season and he believes that they can be a Super Bowl contender. People laughed at him for remarking, some of them said that Jerry tends to overhype his team’s performance. After the first match, some of the analysts also started believing that this could be Dallas’ season.
The Cowboys will go all the way

During the off-season, the 80-year-old billionaire who happens to be the owner of the team, traded Trey Lance from the San Francisco 49ers. Lance was having a bad time at the 49ers and the Cowboys did not miss an opportunity to clinch him.
They had been looking for a developing quarterback for a long time and Lance seemed a perfect fit for them. What surprised everyone about the move was Jones did not consult anyone before the move took place. He did not even discuss it with the head coach or even with Dak Prescott.
The statement was pretty loud. The Cowboys manager wants to end the more-than-28-year trophy drought. Hence they are seeking all the backup options. If Dak fails to put his best out on the field then the Cowboys will have another option to make things happen.
