Deshaun Watson made his Cleveland home debut on Saturday when he and the Cleveland Browns went against the Baltimore Ravens. The Browns defeated the Ravens in a low-scoring game.

After the game, Deshaun Watson was all smiles in the post-match press conference, where he talked about the game and the nice reception he got from the Browns fans. Watson said his home debut was special and compared the game’s atmosphere to the playoff game he played against the Chiefs in 2020.

Talking about the game, Watson said he was happy with the way they played in all three phases of the ball. He continued to tell that he doesn’t need to come in and try to do something special. If he just did his job as a quarterback, then everything is gonna come into place. “I just need to give our offensive talents opportunities to make plays in the space,” said Watson.

When asked a question about the Browns game, he answered that it’s awesome to have that balance and once the run game opened; the passes started to click. He went on to compliment his offensive coaches, who, according to him, called a great job at calling plays. “We kept it simple, the offensive coaches did a great job of calling plays,” added Watson.

Watson also said that it was really good to hear some cheers and appreciated the fans’ support for him and the Browns franchise as a whole. “It was really cool. The fans were awesome,” said Watson. He also complimented his defense, “We fed off our defense’s energy,” said Watson.

With this victory, the Browns still keep their playoff hope alive, but they would look better in their chances by defeating the New Orleans Saints who they will face on Dec 24.

Cleveland Browns vs Baltimore Ravens game had a total of one touchdown between both teams. It was an ugly game, but the Cleveland Browns managed to win the game 13-3.

Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson threw for 161 yards and 1 TD while completing 64.3% of his passes. His leading receiver was Amari Cooper who caught 4 passes for 58 yards. WR Donovan Peoples-Jones caught the only TD of the game by both teams.

But the real star for the Browns was their running back Nick Chubb, who rushed for 99 yards in 21 attempts. As Deshaun mentioned in his post-match press conference, it was only after they established the running; they were able to get their passing game going. Browns’ RB2 Kareem Hunt rushed for 24 yards and received 3 more yards.

As for the Ravens, it was a complete disaster. Ravens fans would like to erase this game from their memory and only hope that their star QB Lamar Jackson heals soon.
