“A.J McCarron & Josh Rosen to play for Browns?”: As Deshaun Watson awaits verdict, Browns are working out QBs for training camp
Deshaun Watson
Deshaun Watson is a name to reckon with in the world of the NFL. He signed a massive deal with the Cleveland Browns a little while ago but apart from that, the man has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. He was alleged by several women on charges of molestation and sexual harassment.
Moreover, it is not even sure if quarterback Deshaun Watson will be able to feature for the Cleveland Browns in the upcoming season. The NFL is inclined on handing out severe punishment to the quarterback for his involvement in the sexual harassment cases.

Browns set to open camp with 4 QBs in Deshaun Watson’s absence
Reportedly, Deshaun’s legal team and even the NFLPA is set and ready to sue to NFL in case the Browns QB is handed a season ban. Although with new twists in the case, Deshaun might not have to sit out for the complete season.
In fact, recently it was reported by NFL Insider Mark Florio that Deshaun might face only a 2-8 game suspension. Only time will tell for how long Deshaun would have to sit out but one things is clear, the Browns will get started with their training camp soon for which they need quarterbacks.
As reported by Associated Press, the Browns are looking to get started with their training camp the coming week with as many as 4 quarterbacks which is why, they are working out A.J. McCarron and Josh Rosen this week. As far as the question of who will be the starting QB in Deshaun’s absence is concerned, Jacoby Brissett seems to be the most probable candidate.
Without a doubt, the Browns broke the bank in order to get Deshaun and they would want him to play as many games as he can for them in the coming season. However, one has to keep in mind that Deshaun is new to the franchise and a verdict on his ban, in all probability will overlap with the team’s training camp.
To add to this, Deshaun might then face a ban for God knows how many games so it would be fair to say that the transition from his previous franchise to the new one is definitely not going to be a smooth one which in turn adds more pressure on him. It will be interesting to see how all this pans out in the near future.
