Dez Bryant played in the NFL for nine seasons and has been a free agent since then. The former Ravens WR has always taken up the opportunity to speak on various social and political issues.

The free agent WR recently got in a heated argument with a Twitter user over former US President Donald Trump. Bryant claims that Trump should be prosecuted and investigated over the RICO case. The 34-year-old said it jokingly. However, his sentiments weren’t reciprocated on Twitter and many called him out for being wrong and a Trump hater.

A user named Gary Hendri called Bryant a whiny b*t*h and stated that “Trump made himself into a billionaire.” The former Ravens WR had a great reply to that, where he stated his desire to become like Trump while apologizing for spreading lies.

“I plan on becoming a billionaire just like him.. calm down …it’s not that serious, if I’m spreading lies I’m sorry Gary,” Bryant stated on Twitter.

Bryant has time and time again spoken against the various policies issued by Trump’s administration. However, the most significant one was in 2017, when Bryant was still a part of the Cowboys.

Trump had then spoken about his displeasure when players were kneeling during the national anthem. The former President wanted every player who kneels against police brutality to be banned from the league.

However, Bryant had different plans as he rallied support from various NFL players and spoke against the discrimination while showing the strength and unity of teammates and the sport.

Dez Bryant has also showered support for the current President Joe Biden when he attempted to make peace with Trump supporters after winning the 2020 elections. The former WR thought it was a great initiative by the President as it helped diminish the divide between the Left and the Right.

Bryant is currently a free agent and out looking for a team. He has played for various teams in his entire career and managed decent numbers. The 34-year-old scored 75 touchdowns for 7506 yards while playing nine seasons in the NFL.
