The Miami Dolphins‘ wide receiver Tyreek Hill and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa not only share a good relationship on the field but also are best of buds off the turf. That was the reason the wideout hailed Tua from his X account. He considered his quarterback the best after the latter had a stellar performance against the Washington Commanders.
The Dolphins QB threw the ball for 280 yards and secured a thumping victory of 45-15 over the Washington team. The Dolphins’ offense was in full swing as the team collected 45 points in the game against the Commanders.
Following the game, Tyreek wrote on X:
Tua is the best in the weld.
His humble appreciation for his quarterback gained much traffic on social media as the fans started appreciating both by saying that they both are the best.
There is hardly any doubt that both of them are connecting brilliantly this season. Tagovailoa’s throws are picked by Hill at the right moment and at the right time. With this intense understanding, the team has moved on to a 9-3 record after week 13. They are the leaders of their division and their postseason hopes are looking very easy.
Tyreek Hill is having his best season in 2023
Ahead of the season, he announced that he would be surpassing more than 2,000 yards. He is on the pace to achieve it. The WR has already completed more than 1,300 yards and in five games he is expecting to add 700 more yards to his tally. Hill had another 150-yard game against the Commanders.
Recently, Wes Welker, the WR coach at the Miami Dolphins, said Hill is better than the legendary WR Randy Moss. Welker, in his life, played with the likes of Moss in the New England Patriots.
Welker told the media on Thursday:
Randy is probably the best deep ball receiver, ever in the game. But Tyreek can run the whole route tree--He can run choice (option) routes, he can run lookie. He can take the top off. His ball skills? Coming in and out of breaks. Name a route you don't like [Tyreek] on? I can't think of one.
Welker also played with Peyton Manning and Tom Brady on the same team. If someone like Welker made this remark then there is hardly any doubt that Hill is way advanced of his time.
