The NFL season this year was bizarre. Considering that the Presidential Elections are right around the corner, there was a lot of lobbying and conspiracy theories surfacing as the season progressed. The storyline of Travis Kelce dating Taylor Swift and the latter making frequent appearances at NFL games has also been dubbed as part of a larger conspiracy put into play by President Joe Biden.

As per The Guardian, the rightwing conspiracy theory propounds Taylor Swift is sent by the Pentagon and her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce is a platform to help Joe Biden return as President.

Republican Party leader and former President Donald Trump accused Taylor Swift of being “disloyal” if she opts to endorse Joe Biden for Presidency. He expressed his faith in her and said,

"No way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden" and that she would never be "disloyal to the man who made her so much money.

He was referring to himself in the latter statement. Donald Trump brought in the Music Modernization Act, legislation which has greatly benefitted artists to get more financially in form of royalties and licensing fees. Despite this, in 2020, Taylor Swift chose Joe Biden and stood by him. However, this election year, she is yet to pick a side and politicians are doing everything in their capacity to swing her to their respective side.

The influence she holds over her fanbase is scary for politicians. Recently, she encouraged her fans to enroll and vote, as a result of her announcement, nearly 35,000 voters registered.

Donald Trump is doing his best to ensure that Taylor Swift either endorses him or does not endorse anyone in the upcoming presidential elections. The business mogul stated that Joe Biden

Joe Biden yesterday made the bizarre decision to tweet out a photo of him with evil red eyes shining after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl. He captioned the tweet “Just like we drew it up.” It was an obvious reference to the joke that the NFL is scripted and that the outcome of the Super Bowl is already pre-determined.

Some other cases of politicians attempting to get on the good side include Chuck Schumer, who declared he was a Swiftie and named White Horse as his favorite song from her 2008 album, Fearless. This time around, Taylor Swift seems to be taking a backseat when it comes to picking a presidential candidate. She understands the repercussions of her actions and how it could come back to bite her in the future.
