At the end of this Sunday night, Super Bowl LVII turned into a “Kelce Bowl” moment as Donna Kelce hugged both her sons Travis and Jason after the win-loss tournament. It was heartbreaking for Jason, who is rumored to have been playing his last Super Bowl event to lose against his brother’s team.
The Philadelphia Eagles lost in a spectacularly dramatic fashion to the Kansas City Chiefs in a score of 38-35 at State Farm Stadium. Travis and Jason’s mother, Donna, was present at the event to show support for both of her sons, who were facing each other.
Unfortunately for Jason, the Eagles lost and the 1.91 m tall football center closed in for a hug. Donna found herself in a predicament as she celebrated the victory with Travis while hugging Jason after the match. To show her support, she even donned a parted jersey of Eagles and Chiefs with Kelce written on the back of it.

Donna Kelce consoles older son Jason while celebrating victory with Travis Kelce
Donna Kelce, prior to the game, promised to hug whoever won the match, but as Jason appeared after the loss, she consoled him in a warm embrace. She said she wanted, “to tell them that my fingers are crossed for both of them, that I’m proud of them, and I hope their dreams come true.”
Later, when Travis came in for an embrace, she happily celebrated her son’s victory as Donna beamed, grinning ear to ear. Travis whispered to her, “How crazy is this, Mom?” Both brothers came together later on the field hugging as Jason congratulated his younger brother saying, “f*ck you, congratulations”.
Even though Jason told Travis to “go celebrate” with his team, the Chiefs tight end lingered for a moment to make sure his brother was okay before leaving. Travis offered a sweet “I love you” to Jason, to which the latter replied, “I love you too. Go celebrate!”
This could’ve been the last game for Jason Kelce, who repeatedly said prior to the event that he’s been thinking about retirement plans for a year. The Chiefs won the game with a last-minute field goal as they revived from the 24-14 halftime. Travis enjoyed 6 receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown. He has won 2 Super Bowls in the past 4 seasons with the Chiefs.
