“I wouldn’t be surprised if Rob Gronkowski comes back,” Drew Rosenhaus leaves the door open for TE’s return to the NFL following retirement

Rob Gronkowski has once again announced his retirement from the NFL, putting an apparent end to his highly glittering 11-year long career. The 33-year-old had previously called time on his career in 2019, however that did not last long and he eventually returned to the Buccaneers.

Given his history, fans of the tight end have not given up hope that they have seen the last of him in the NFL. Rob Gronkowski ‘s agent Drew Rosenhaus, too seems to be thinking along those lines as he revealed in his text to NFL analyst, Adam Schefter.

Back in 2020, all it took was a phone call from Tom Brady who urged his close mate, Rob Gronkowski to come back into the fray and join him at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to have a final run. The move ended up being fruitful for both of them, as the duo led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title in 2020.

Drew Rosenhaus is predicting that there might be something similar happening ahead or during the 2022 season, where Tom Brady once again calls him up and changes his retirement announcement.

According to Adam Schefter, Rosenhaus wrote, “It would not surprise me if Tom Brady calls him during the season to come back and Rob answers the call. This is just my opinion but I wouldn’t be surprised if Rob comes back during the season or next season.”
