The Arizona Cardinals were not at their best in their week 2 NFL fixture against the Raiders. The first three quarters were dominated by the Raiders who were leading the score 20-0.

Kyler Murray was asleep the whole game but suddenly woke up in the last quarter. The newly highest-paid QB constructed an amazing comeback that helped the Cardinals tie the score with the Raiders which led to overtime.

Overtime was even more interesting and captivating as both teams tried to get the better of each other. The score was 23-23 when the overtime started but Byron Murphy was prepared to make the most important run of the game.

Raiders WR Isaiah Simmons suffered a fumble near Byron Murphy and dropped the ball. The Cardinals CB took this opportunity to run the ball to the end-zone resulting in a 59-yard touchdown that won the game for the Cardinals.

Although the celebrations had to be stopped as Byron Murphy supposedly threw the ball before getting into the end-zone due to his excitement.

The touchdown was not credited to the Cardinals as there was a lengthy check if Byron Murphy crossed the line with the ball or he didn’t. After minutes of looking at the slow-motion footage from different angles, the referees decided to give the TD to the Cardinals and ultimately the win.

Though Byron Murphy didn’t cross the line with the football the rule states that the ball should cross the line and it did. People on Twitter argued that Byron Murphy could’ve given the Raiders a win for just trying to look cool. Though he was saved by a few centimetres.

Cardinals pulled off an amazing comeback with Byron Murphy taking all the glory for his final touchdown. But, it was Kyler Murray who was the real MVP of the game, the QB constructed the whole comeback in just the fourth quarter. Just imagine if he would have been at his best the whole game.
