The world was left shellshocked when Dwayne Haskins Jr. tragically passed away in a road accident earlier this year. The talented quarterback played in the NFL for three seasons. He played college football at Ohio State, where he had impressed one and all with his performances.
The 24-year-old quarterback was crossing the highway when he was hit by a dump truck. The investigation into the case is on in full flow and some recent reports have revealed shocking details about what had transpired on the unfortunate day.

Dwayne Haskins was intoxicated at the time of the accident: Report
As reported by USA Today, a toxicology report has revealed that Dwayne was actually intoxicated at the time of the accident. The report went on to say that Haskins had a blood-alcohol concentration of at least 0.20%, more than double of what has been set as the legal limit in Florida.
Another investigation report claimed that the night prior to his death, Dwayne consumed a lot of alcohol at a club. “They (Dwayne and his friend) drank heavily and at some point, they got into a fight, separating,” the report states. Moreover, it was reported that traces of ketamine were found in Dwayne’s urine but no drugs were found in his blood.
As expected, a lot of chatter around the case was green-lit by the emergence of these reports and in response to all this, Dwayne’s wife Kalabrya’s attorney released a statement. “On behalf of Dwayne’s wife, his family, and his memory, and on behalf of the truth, we respectfully request and pray for privacy, for patience, and for the public to withhold any judgment during this period while the law enforcement authorities continue to investigate and conduct their important work,” Rick Ellsley said.
