With another victory against the Buffalo Bills, the Philadelphia Eagles moved onto a 10-1 record after their 11 games. It was another comeback drive by the Eagles as they turned the table, despite trailing by 7-17 in the first half. The last two quarters proved to be fruitful as the Eagles enforced the OT. Jalen Hurts provided another stellar performance with five touchdowns (three passing TDs).
After securing the victory, a set of Jalen Hurts fans argued his name for the MVP award. His stats for the 2023-24 season express the sheer domination of the QB. In 11 games, the QB has registered 18 TDs against 10 interceptions. In addition to this, the QB has covered 2697 yards of passing with a completion rate of 67.6%.
However, his MVP debate has been disqualified by a bunch of other NFL followers who believe that Hurts was carried by the referees throughout the game against the Bills. They expressed their agony over Hurts being considered a possible NFL favorite. There were some referring inconveniences that possibly made the fans angry.
However, there is hardly any doubt that the QB provided a staunch second-half performance that sealed the game for the Eagles. He came back after a miserable first-half performance.
The Bills were running with a ten-point lead and Hurts threw the ball only for 33 yards. The Eagles were also confined with 99 yards. Nonetheless, things started changing in the second half when Hurts finally started connecting with A.J. Brown. He connected Brown from three yards and DeVonta Smith from 15 yards. These two connections helped the Eagles back into the game.

On the obvious bright side though, the Eagles are in very good shape now. They are presently leading the league by 10-1. The playoffs for them are nearly sealed. Last year, they reached the Super Bowl and lost in front of the brilliance of Patrick Mahomes. This year, they will strive to win the Super Bowl at any cost.
On the other hand, the Bills’ playoff future is becoming faded with time. After 12 games, they are standing with a 6-6 record. The fierce start that they had got carried away by their lack of consistency. Losing back-to-back games took the momentum away from them.
