“I started this trend”: Eli Manning hilariously apologizes for Draymond Green’s double birds

Eli Manning and Draymond Green
The Golden State Warriors fell short by 5 points against the Memphis Grizzlies in the second game of the series. Before this, the Grizzlies were handed an agonizing one-point defeat by the Warriors and the series now stands tied at 1-1.
Ja Morant had a tremendous outing and ended up scoring 47 points. The Grizzlies looked on song right from the first quarter and although the Warriors did well in the next two quarters, they were pushed out of the contest in the final quarter.
“They deserved it”: Draymond Green refuses to apologize after giving the double birds to the crowd

During the game, the Warriors’ Draymond Green took an elbow to the eye and was forced to go out to get some rest and treatment. However, as he was leaving for the locker-room, Draymond wasn’t pleased with the Grizzlies crowd and gave them the double birds.
Not sure if Draymond’s intention was to pay homage to the NFL legend Eli Manning but Manning sure reminisced his good old days when he did something similar. For the unversed, Manning, on Live TV had flipped the double birds to a 9-year-old Eagles fan, thinking that the fingers will be blurred by the broadcasters.
After seeing what Draymond did, Manning took to Twitter to tell the world that he actually started this trend. “I apologize for starting this trend!!” he Tweeted.
As far as Draymond is concerned, he wasn’t apologetic about what he did. In fact, he claimed that it felt good to flip off the people who don’t shy away from booing a person who is severely injured. “If you’re going to boo somebody who got elbowed in the eye, face running down blood, you should get flipped off,” Green told reporters after the contest ended.
“I’ll take the fine and go make an appearance and make up the money. But it felt really good to flip them off,” he added.
