Emmanuel Acho rallies behind Tyreek Hill’s Dolphins as the ‘dark horses’ to win the Super Bowl with Tua Tagovailoa

Acho also brought the Dolphins defensive coordinator, Vic Fangio and his excellent record, into the mix.

The anticipation about who will reach the Super Bowl this year is heating up as several franchises bolster their squads to improve their chances. While only the best will win the prestigious Vince Lombardi trophy, there will always be a team that fans won’t bet on much but will deliver when it matters. These teams are called the ‘dark horse’, and Emmanuel Acho believes that the title fits perfectly with the Miami Dolphins.

I don’t see why the Dolphins can’t win the Super Bowl,” said Acho on the recent episode of Fox Sports 1’s Speak. He claimed that if Tua Tagovailoa is fit, then the Dolphins “are the dark horses.”

Then Acho brought the Dolphins defensive coordinator, Vic Fangio, into the mix. “Defensively is not something enough people are talking about,” suggesting that Fangio is capable enough to create a solid backline. He is not wrong, as the 64-year-old has a credible history to back up Acho’s point. During his 22-year career as a coach, Fangio’s defense has ranked in the top 10 in points allowed 10 times. However, his best years began in the 2010s, since his time at the San Francisco 49ers. Fangio replaced Josh Boyer as the Dolphins coordinator.

Furthermore, Acho highlighted that the Dolphins have even more firepower this season with a supercharged Tyreek Hill on the flanks. “Then offensively, where will the Dolphins be outmatched? There’s no defense that can lock up Jalen Waddle or Tyreek Hill,” Acho said. Waddle was the No. 2 wide receiver last year with 1300 rushing yards.

Can Tua Tagovailoa lead the Miami Dolphins to the Super Bowl?

If one goes by Emmanuel Acho’s prediction and analysis, the Dolphins are a capable team that can go all the way. However, that will only happen if a fit Tua Tagovailoa calls the shots throughout the season. The 2020 first-round No. 5 pick shows the quality of the 25-year-old Hawaiian.

Moreover, with Fangio whipping up his 3-4 defense at play, their opponents will have a tougher time guessing where the additional defender will appear from. It will surely be a big hindrance for the opposing receivers to keep their eyes and ears open all the time.

As Acho mentioned, Tyreek Hill will play a major role in taking the Dolphins into the Super Bowl. The energetic 29-year-old will bring all of his Super Bowl-winning experience to the field of play so that he can achieve his target of 2000 yards.

However, Hill’s recent antics may come back to bite them. He was recently accused of assaulting a Marina worker. The NFL has launched an investigation into the matter and uncovered that Hill even tried to bribe the victim. The Dolphins need to sort out this mess quickly in order to focus on the NFL.

That aside, the Dolphins have a well-rounded squad with depth at every position. What Miami needs now is for Tua Tagovailoa to go out on the field and give it his all.
