They say ‘The greatest treasure in life is the love you receive from others’ and looks like Jerry Rice has earned that enormously. Rice, who is known as one of the greatest players in the history of the San Francisco 49ers as well as the NFL, recently came face to face with the legacy he built as a football player as the crowd chanted his name.

The former legendary wide receiver has never been the one to shy away from his emotions, instead, he always expressed it to the fullest. This time, once again, his fans caught sight of the legend shedding tears ahead of the big game of Super Bowl LVIII.

This Saturday, Rice took a walk down memory lane during his appearance on ‘CHIP STRIP’ when his career highlights were shown and the crowd began chanting his name.

Feeling the warmth of love from the fans, the three-time Super Bowl champion couldn’t hold himself as he got so emotional that he had to walk away momentarily while the crowd kept chanting his name. It was indeed a wholesome moment to witness!

The Hall of Famer is counted among those players who had a raw and natural talent for football and he definitely knew how to passionately utilize it. In fact, during his time in the league, he used to hate layoffs as Rice believed they were stopping him from achieving what he wanted. He said in one of his interviews:
