The New York Jets performed brilliantly to make a stunning comeback against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday to win 31-30. The Jets had to cover massive ground to ensure they won with a 13-point comeback against the Browns. The Cleveland Browns were winning 30-17 with 1:55 left before giving up 14 points in a minute in one of the worst losses in the team’s history.

However, an unfortunate incident occurred after the stadium game wherein a fan threw a bottle at the Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam. The incident was caught on camera by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero which shows the fan throwing the bottle at Haslam as he exited the field near the players’ tunnel.

Police officials have successfully managed to identify the person responsible and have revealed that it’s a 51-year-old fan by the name of Jeffrey Miller who has been arrested on counts of assault, failure to comply with a lawful order and disorderly conduct, as per the official police report.

Fan, player and staff safety is the top priority in our building and behaviour that puts others in danger will not be tolerated,” the Cleveland Browns said in an official statement. “Luckily no one was harmed in this incident and as a standard practice, we’ve cooperated with law enforcement authorities and security video footage of the object being thrown is in the appropriate hands. We will have no further comment on this matter.”

Police have also reported that it seems that the fan was intoxicated when the incident occurred. Furthermore, this is not the first case of fan violence on players with Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray also being hit by a fan in the face.
