Nick Foles is the latest quarterback to be out of a job. The Chicago Bears have agreed to release the former Super Bowl MVP, his agent confirmed with NFL Media. Nick Foles started a total of eight games during his brief two-year stint as a Bear. It was evident that the organization was losing faith in Foles when they drafted QB Justin Fields in the first round of the 2021 draft.
The Bears opted to release the QB instead of trading him. There are multiple teams such as the Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans who could use a quarterback, however, there is another QB in Cleveland who is looking for a starting role and is playing better in comparison to Foles, Baker Mayfield.

Foles is lucky as he gets to choose his next destination, his agent Justin Schulman praised GM Ryan Poles by telling that he “did the classy thing.” Nick Foles has been a part of five teams since he was drafted by the Eagles in 2012. He has made the Pro Bowl once and was the reason why the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2017. He won the Finals MVP after a stellar performance in which he threw for 373 yards and 3 TDs.
