“Fire Bill Belichick,” NFL Twitter Reacts in disgust to Patriots’ HORRIFIC 20-7 defeat against the Dolphins

During the pre season in the run up to the start of the new NFL season, New England Patriots fans were extremely worried about who would be handling the plays and tactics for their offensive tactics. With offensive coach Josh McDaniels gone, it was always going to create a big difference in the team.

And in their season opener against the Miami Dolphins, all their worries became reality as they lost 20-7 on Sunday in a terrible performance with their offense nowhere up to the mark.

Bill Belichick was torn between Joe Judge or Matt Patricia to call the plays and in the end it went all horribly wrong. Matt Patricia who was earlier the head coach of the Detroit Lions as well as the defensive coordinator of the New England Patriots looked at a complete loss against the Miami Dolphins.

Hence it was very obvious that the Patriots fans would take to Twitter and express their frustration over Bill Belichick. Some of them even reminded that he has a bad track record without the services of Tom Brady!

Well, it’s obviously a disappointing start here. It was really a pretty even game. Two big plays, 14 points, really skewed the game. Moved the ball. We couldn’t get enough points, and we got into their territory. We got in their six, seven times, whatever it was, and it was 7 points. So we’ve got to do a better job of finishing,” said Bill Belichick.

Defensively, gave up a big play there at the end of the half and a couple field goals, but still need to play better on third down. Obviously getting the ball back there at the end of the game. Not enough good things to win. A couple bad plays really hurt us. Need to finish some drives better on both sides of the ball and make an impact. Just build on this and go back to work.”
