Amid suffering intense trolling from fans and critics, the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling receives much-needed support from the former Kansas man Tyreek Hill. This came as a surprise to people who are aware of the fact that Hill does not share a very good relationship with the Chiefs.

Tyreek Hill was with the Chiefs team for six long seasons and later left them due to some tussles. However, that person came in handy when Valdes-Scantling was going through a rough patch.

Using his X handle, the Miami Dolphins WR man wrote,

Everybody thinking that catch easy at night in them lights.

The comments came against the backdrop of the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles MNF game. Valdes-Scantling had a glorious opportunity to seal things in favor of the Chiefs with a possible touchdown.

A brilliant throw from Patrick Mahomes, who mostly remained silent throughout the game, found the wideout. He left his marker behind and made a run toward the touchdown line. Since he was ahead of his marker, all he had to do was to cushion the ball. However, the wideout failed badly. He dropped the catch at the last moment and the Chiefs were deprived of a win.

The wideout looked frustrated after the game as he hit the wall with his helmet. However, that did not help him to save his face from trolls and banters. The WR was subjected to a lot of criticism from the fans on social media.

Tyreek Hill’s had an ugly fallout from the Chiefs

Fans were a bit shocked by Tyreek Hill’s reactions after he supported the Kansas City wideout. It was a bit surprising as the former Chiefs man doesn’t shy away from taking timely jibes on social media at his former club.

Hill has a love-hate relationship with the Chiefs. The player had six seasons at the Kansas City Chiefs. He was an important part of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl-winning team in 2020 and also helped them to reach the championship game the next year. However, he failed in 2021, and the Chiefs lost against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Hill’s journey with the Chiefs came to an end in 2022 when he was traded to the Miami Dolphins. The contract negotiation between the two ends created a halt between the two parties. As a result, Hill had to leave the team.

The Chiefs received five draft picks in exchange for Hill, a first-round pick, a second-round pick, and a fourth-round pick in 2022, and a fourth and sixth-round pick in 2023. Following Hill’s departure, the Chiefs decided to bring in Juju Smith-Schuster to help Patrick Mahomes on offense. While he was not able to fill the void created by Hill, Juju did do enough for the Chiefs to be able to win games.
