Gisele Bündchen has spoken about her divorce from former NFL quarterback Tom Brady after a few months. In her latest interview with Vanity Fair, the Brazilian supermodel went in-depth and talked about the reasons and circumstances that ultimately led to a painful split between the two. Tom and Gisele were married for 13 years.
Things have not been easy for them in the last year as Gisele and Tom had begun to grow distant from one another. While the valid reason for the same is unclear, media reports and speculation indicated that the model was unhappy with the quarterback’s decision to unretire and return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to play for another year. The original reports had hinted that Gisele had offered Tom an ultimatum, it was either football or family.
In her latest interview with Vanity Fair, Gisele Bündchen cleared the air on these rumors and dismissed them. She made it crystal clear that at no point had she offered any sort of an ultimatum to Tom as she respected his love for the sport. Gisele also added that she did everything in her power to try and prevent their relationship from ending the way it did. Gisele put a lot of effort to reconcile.

It is always painful when a relationship ends and when a marriage ends, it tends to be more agonizing as it splits a happy family apart. Gisele Bündchen was hurt when her marriage with Tom Brady ended and at this moment, she could not just think of herself but also their two kids. Divorce tends to have an adverse impact on the mind of children, especially when they are in their early teens like Brady and Bündchen’s kids. But the one good thing is that despite their decision to part ways, Gisele and Tom have affirmed that they would always put their personal differences apart and always come together to give their kids the upbringing and love that they deserve.
Gisele went on to add that she has no regrets because she is of the opinion that she did everything in her power to save her marriage, “You give everything you got to achieve your dream. You give a hundred percent of yourself, and it’s heartbreaking when it doesn’t end up the way you hoped for, and worked for, but you can only do your part.”
Gisele never imagined her marriage ending, she described the events that transpired as “the death of my dream” and stated that she expected life to go in a certain manner. Gisele is still hurt from her divorce and is attempting to heal herself. The supermodel has been focusing on her career and has been spending quite some time in Brazil and Miami on vacations to get her mind space back on track. Will Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen ever reconcile in the future? That remains to be seen but never say never.
