The Denver Broncos will have the pressure ahead of their game vs. the Miami Dolphins today. The team had a horrific start to the 2023-24 season as they lost back-to-back games. More trouble has brewed since the relationship between the head coach Sean Payton and Russell Wilson has declined.
After the unfortunate loss against the Washington Commanders, coach Payton openly blamed Wilson for his slow play calls and suggested the player wear a wristband for fast play calls. It is evident now that the team is not in a proper structure and this will keep the fans on their toes.
In this scenario, the encounter against the Dolphins is going to be a must-win game for the Broncos. They are already down by 0-2 and if they lose the third game, then the 2023 campaign will almost come to an end already. Last year, the team was horrible as they had a 5-12 record. Ahead of the must-win game, Wilson’s playmaking has been a subject of criticism for some analysts. In a show with Ross Tucker, veteran analyst Greg Cosell questioned his sense of timing and rhythm. The analyst said, “I have seen Russell Wilson in the first two games under Sean Payton and I do not think Russell Wilson is playing very well right now. Don’t forget Sean Payton is a very good offensive coach and a very good offensive designer.
