“He needs to be checked,” Sean Peyton drops a truth BOMB on Aaron Rodgers’ behavior with young Packers WRs

Aaron Rodgers and his Green Bay Packers had a terrible start to the season when they suffered a devastating 23-7 loss to division rivals the Minnesota Vikings. Leaving Rodgers visibly frustrated with his receivers who played a major part in the loss.

The Packers receiving core suffered a huge loss when Devante Adams joined the Las Vegas Raiders after a blockbuster trade to join his college buddy and Quarterback Derek Carr. Adams was Rodgers’s no.1 weapon and without him, Rodgers looked a shadow of his great self. On the first play of the game, Rodgers threw a pinpoint pass to rookie receiver Christian Watson who dropped the ball. Rodgers seemed pissed with that. Rodgers has been very vocal in criticizing the receivers since the off-season. His approach has been dubbed tough love which doesn’t seem to count former New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton as a fan.

Aaron Rodgers’s public expression of frustration with his young WRs is that’s driving Sean Payton mad as he said in a recent podcast appearance to Lindsay Rhodes –“It drives me crazy….. Here’s the thing I didn’t think he(Rodgers) played well…..There were a number of situations where ultimately you watch that game…….one Quarterback(Rodgers) was under duress the other had more time(Kirk Cousins).”

Payton didn’t like the fact that Rodgers referenced Watson’s mistake in a post-game interview-“I was like come on and I like Aaron Rodgers. I didn’t like what I saw…The whole pre-game with the zen stuff…I mean honestly, it’s just like ahhh… Enough……I wanna see… every once in a while every one of us needs to be checked.”

Payton seems to be hinting at some deeper issues on a mental level as he seemed to be referring to Rodgers’s pre-season revelations on the use of psychedelic drugs.

Will the Packers and their Hall of Fame bound Quarterback to bounce back and does Rodgers really have something ye needs to be checked out for as Sean Payton believes we don’t know?
