The NFL world is in shock with the recent involvement of legendary Packers QB Brett Favre in an alleged welfare fund scandal. Brett Favre was also questioned by the authorities when he failed to show how the QB earned millions of rupees without any trace.
Brett Favre was reportedly paid $1.1 million for speeches that he never made this also arose suspicion from the FBI who later questioned Favre.
Shannon Sharpe was furious with this news and didn’t hold back when sharing his views. The former Broncos TE even went on to call Brett Favre a complete ‘sleazeball’ who takes money from people who needed it.
Shannon pointed out that Mississippi is one of the poorest states in America and Brett Favre allegedly deprived the people of millions of dollars for his gains. Brett Favre had earned millions of dollars during his career in the NFL. So, Shannon was confused about the reason behind this scandal.
“Well, I don’t think nothing can tarnish it, because if you go back and look at his history in the NFL, it should have tarnished it already.” Shannon Sharpe said on the Undisputed. “I talked to people that were in the room when Brett Favre went into the Hall of Fame and nobody mentioned text messages he sent to that Jets masseuse. Nobody mentioned the addiction that he suffered from.”

New texts were revealed recently that showed that Brett Favre is funnelling around $5 million into a new complex built in his alma matter where his daughter also plays volleyball. Brett Favre was in collaboration with a non-profit organisation and former Mississippi governor Phil Bryant.
Brett Favre is not yet charged for the alleged crimes he has committed. The welfare fund scam is a big deal where around $77 million is not going to people who need it the most instead they are scammed and deprived of their basic needs.
Brett Favre had a great legacy in the NFL and with his recent involvements in the welfare fund scam, his legacy may get tarnished.
