NFL is a dangerous league and Joe Burrow agrees to it. Bengals QB Joe Burrow was recently featured on the Colin Cowherd podcast and spoke about the possible hazard of playing in one of the world’s most valuable leagues.
Colin Cowherd asked Joe Burrow about the dangers of concussion while relating to the recent concussion that Tua Tagovailoa suffered against the Bengals that hospitalized him.
“You start to ring a little bit,” Burrow said. “I’ve never had any lasting effects from a concussion. I’ve been hit and forgot the rest of the game before. That’s happened a couple times.”
A concussion is a major injury that can change your brain’s chemistry forever and also can lead to further more dangerous injuries that can probably sabotage your career and life.
Joe Burrow stated that he has suffered from a concussion but has never had a brutal one as the Dolphins QB did. Burrow agreed that he doesn’t remember some games where he was concussed and Colin Cowherd was astonished hearing this.
“I’ve never had one where I’ve had headaches for a week, and I have symptoms of concussion after the game,” Joe Burrow stated. The Bengals QB believes that no matter how many rules and regulations are imposed, football will inherently be very dangerous and that’s just the part and parcel of the game that’s the reason the player’s get payed so handsomely.
“You can make all the rules you want to make the game as safe as you possibly can, but there is an inherent risk and danger with the game of football,” Burrow stated on the Colin Cowherd podcast. “You have 300-pound men running 20 miles per hour trying to take your head off while you’re standing still trying to ignore it and find receivers that are open.”

Tua Tagovailoa suffered 2 major concussions in just 5 days

The NFL world was put to a halt when Tua Tagovailoa collapsed on the field in the game against the Bengals after getting sacked. Tua wasn’t able to move and his forearms were flexed with wrinkled fingers. A neuroscientist stated that those were the symptoms of a lethal concussion.
Many doctors have advised Tua Tagovailoa to retire from NFL altogether, some have cautioned him and told him to take a long rest. The whole ordeal started when the Dolphins QB suffered the first concussion against the Bills. Tua bravely got up but was wobbling all over the field before being taken into the locker room for further examination.
Tua Tagovailoa was then allowed on the field in the fourth quarter to complete the game. This enraged many people as the concussion protocols were being broken. Tua was also allowed to play the game against the Bengals in just 4 days. The NFL and NFLPA then decided to conduct a thorough investigation.
Tua Tagovailoa has recovered brilliantly but it’s not sure when the 24-year-old will take the field as the Dolphin’s QB next.
