American actor Henry Winkler is a well known name in the entertainment industry and is popular for a shows like The Waterboy wherein he plays the role of Coach Klein or on the Happy Days as Fonzie.
Henry Winkler recently appeared on the Rich Eisen Show to promote season 3 of his new television series Barry in which he’s playing role of Gene Cousineau. On the show he spoke passionately about his admiration for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Actor Henry Winkler heavily praises Patrick Mahomes on the Rich Eisen Show
Henry Winkler spoke highly about Patrick Mahomes and referred to him as one of his heroes on the Rich Eisen Show. He further went on to say that although he’s never lived in Kansas he has great admiration for Mahomes and loves to watch him play.
“He’s one of my heroes,” Winkler said. “I root for that team even though I have never lived there. I think he is just phenomenal to watch.I think that his ability is such a cut above. He is so passionate in the way he plays. He is so improvisational in the way he plays. He is so sure. I just think it is instinctually great.”
Henry Winkler even went on to invite Patrick Mahomes over when the Chiefs are in Las Vegas. Winkler asked Rich Eisen if Mahomes did indeed listen to the show and when the latter said he did, Winkler wasted no time.
“Patrick. Hi, how are you? No, if Patrick is listening, I’d like to … we make a great chicken stuffed with ricotta and spinach with an unbelievable reduction. It can be yours if you’re here in LA.”
