Tyreek Hill shocked the whole of the NFL after he shifted franchises ahead of the 2022 NFL season to play for the Miami Dolphins. The move came as a shock to many given how he had shone for the Kansas City Chiefs in the past few seasons.

Over the past few days, plenty was said about the trade by Tyreek Hill, about why he wanted a trade move so desperately. The highly promising wide receiver made some controversial statements about his former teammate and quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman, Trey Smith recently made an appearance on the J-Mart and Ramon radio show to talk about his first year in the NFL. He was quizzed about his former teammate Tyreek Hill’s trade move and the youngster did not think to choose sides and rather remained restrained in his opinion.

“Yeah, the coaches are gonna do what they think is best for the organization and for the team. And I can’t blame Tyreek; he’s getting paid,” Trey Smith said on the J-Mart and Ramon radio show. “I’ll never blame a guy to get paid, but he’s got to do what’s best for him. I’m really excited to see what he does in Miami, wishing him well.”

Tyreek Hill also claimed that Miami Dolphins’ Tua Tagavailoa is better than Mahomes, while also saying that during the latter part of the previous season, he felt a bit left out of the offensive plays and wanted to be more involved.
