“People write you off,” Seahawks QB Geno Smith drops TRUTH bomb after exhilarating performance against the Broncos
Geno Smith
Geno Smith was the star performer for the Seattle Seahawks in their opening match of the season against the Denver Broncos as they registered a 17-16 win. The fans were thoroughly impressed with Smith and chants of ‘Geno, Geno!’ could be heard.
Geno Smith was the back up quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks and how fitting it should be that he came to life against the Broncos who currently have the Seahawks former number 1, Russell Wilson. Smith started the first half with 17-of-18 for 164 yards and two touchdowns and in the second half finished with 23-of-28 for 195 yards.
“I’ve been working my b*tt off!”: Geno Smith says after match

In the post match conference Geno Smith addressed how people have written and said about him but he hasn’t let that affect him. All he’s focused on is putting in hard work and describes it as ‘not writing back’ to people who wrote him off.
Additionally Geno Smith said that he has been in the NFL for 10 years now so he is vastly experienced. Smith added that it’s a team game in the end and he’s blessed with talent and a drive to win.
“When people say ‘what I’ve been through,’ I think that’s a stretch, man.I’m in the NFL for 10 years, so to say what I’ve been through is kind of funny. Then to say people wrote me off, I’ve just been working. That’s what I mean by ‘I never wrote back.’ I don’t listen to stuff like that. I just work. I know what I have inside of me. God has blessed me with talent and also a passion and a drive. As far as worrying about naysayer or anything like that, I don’t get into that type of stuff,” Geno Smith said.
“People can write you off, but life is about what you make it. I’ve just been blessed enough to be in the NFL for ten years and been working my butt off. It’s a team game, and we got a win tonight as a team.”
