“I love money”: Jahan Dotson is super confident for his first season in the NFL

NFL is one of the most profitable sports leagues in the world. It’s ruthless and physical but on the upside, it provides a lot of money if you’re pretty good at it. Jahan Dotson, WR for the Commandeers loves money and he’s trying to get it by playing great football.
Jahan Dotson, in his interview with the Athletic, stated.“When the ball is up in the air, I [see] it as a million dollars… I love money, so i’m trying to get it.”
The rookie WR was the first round pick in the 2022 NFL draft. The 22 year old has shown a lot of potential when he played college football at Penn State University and wants to perform the same way in the NFL.
Dotson signed a 4-year rookie contract worth $15 million, that’s a lot of money for a 22-year-old but the youngster certainly performs that way.
PFF reported on Twitter that Dotson has some of the best hands coming into the NFL, though he also has the support of QB Jalen Hurts.

“We have really big expectations for Jahan Dotson”: Commanders GM Martin Mayhew

Jahan Dotson is super confident for a 22-year-old and that’s a good thing. He knows how good of a player he is and doesn’t need external validation.
“You see him get focused and kind of glass over the eyes,” Hill said. “It’s like: ‘OK, that’s what I want to see. That’s what I need to see.’ That calm confidence — you know he’s about to go off.”
The Commanders have a strong, composed and polished WR whos ready to perform and give his best, while the pundits have shown concern about his height 5.11ft and weight 182 pounds but what he lacks in physical ability he covers up in technical aspects.
The General Manager of the Commanders believes that Dotson was a great signing and shows a lot of confidence in him. “We have really big expectations for [Dotson],” Martin Mayhew said. “He’s going to fit right in to what we’re doing offensively.”
Honestly, it doesn’t matter if your motivation to play is money or just pure passion, what matters is how you’re performing on the pitch day in and day out. Dotson is one of those rare players who believes in his ability as a rookie and sure will perform in the future.
