“The NFL is investigating these new claims,” Ian Rapoport drops a huge hint on Deshaun Watson’s possible punishment for sexual harrasment allegations
Deshaun Watson continues to find himself under the scanner for his actions while being with the Houston Texans. As if 24 lawsuits of sexual harrasment were not enough, latest reports claim that he was involved with 66 women over the course of these past 17 months.
Despite those previous allegations of him making sexual advances to the masseurs during his spell with the Houston Texans, the Cleveland Browns traded him in this offseason in a huge deal. The 26-year old quarterback is all set to earn a whopping $230 million for the next 5 years, as part of his contract.

Deshaun Watson is yet to know the magnitude of his punishment from the NFL
However, Deshaun Watson might not get his hands on the ball for the upcoming season, if the talks around his suspension from the NFL are to be believed. The league has already started independent investigations to determine the length of punishment they want to hand out to him, especially after the latest reports came in.
The recent developments brought on by The New York Times has claimed that he made sexual advances to numerous masseurs, and also initiated sexual texts without their consent. While discussing the issue on the Pat McAfee Show, leading NFL analyst, Ian Rapoport tried to give an insight into what the league are thinking about Deshaun Watson.
“When these new allegations came, these are now being looked into,” Ian Rapoport said. “I would say it’s still on the back end or the back nine as you would say, but I don’t think it’s over because I believe the league is investigating these new claims as well and talking to Deshaun Watson as well.”
