Davante Adams is a superstar in the NFL, one of the best talents at the wide receiver position. Still, his actions are not beyond reproach and it was once again proved when the world called him out for his behavior following Las Vegas Raiders’ close loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Davante Adams, who joined the Raiders in the off-season, had the best game as a Las Vegas Raider, 2TDs with 134 yards. It must have hurt to lose the game after a personal best effort by just 1 point, but that should not be an excuse for his actions afterward, where he shoved a production worker in front of him. It is not a socially acceptable behavior even if you are a superstar. Adams has since apologized for the incident, but his words don’t seem enough.

Adams not only shoved the guy hard but didn’t help him after he fell down and walked away, which made the situation and his actions worse in the eyes of the viewers.

Adams later apologized to the reporters per Yahoo Sports and later tweeted out his apology, which many across the platform felt was insincere. Check some of the reactions for the same below.

Adams may face disciplinary action from the league, ranging from a fine to suspension, which won’t be any help to his team or himself. But this very well be a valuable lesson to him and everyone out there, that letting emotions take over oneself is not right and such actions have consequences. Even if he faces no disciplinary action, many fans’ who look up to him will be disappointed. The apology could have been worded better as the tone of it as pointed out by the users is a bit insincere.
